Oklahoma City Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Oscar Masters III specializes in aesthetic surgery of the breast, body and face.
Dr. Masters attended the University of Oklahoma graduating, with honors, focusing in Biomedical Sciences. He furthered his education at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. It was there that he discovered his passion for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and great satisfaction in Plastics research. Dr. Masters has published numerous articles in the field, winning many research awards including the Alpha Omega Alpha award.
Dr. Masters’ commitment to research and his academic accolades earned him a highly sought-after spot in the competitive integrated Plastic Surgery residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He honed his skills through training programs at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Shriners Hospital for Children, and Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery. Additionally, he helped develop state-of-the-art techniques in postoperative pain management for tummy tuck procedures. His paper on these cutting edge techniques was awarded as the best Aesthetic Paper at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons Conference.
In the past 2 years he has worked closely alongside Dr. Brou perfecting his surgical skills and keen eye for details. Dr. Masters is board certified which means he has met the highest standards of education, professionalism and ethics set forth by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons.
In his own time, Dr. Masters enjoys cooking, running, swimming, CrossFit, Sooner football, Thunder basketball and spending time with his wife, Rachel, whom he met during their training at University of Texas Medical Branch.
